Mr. Brandon O’Field graduated in 1996 from Ferguson High School in
Loveland, CO. He attended the University of Northern Colorado where he
received his Bachelor’s Degree in History. In the fall of 2007, Mr. O’Field
started working at Prairie View High School in Brighton, CO as a Social
Studies Teacher where he taught for seven years. In the fall of 2014, Mr.
O’Field accepted a position at Brighton Heritage Academy, an alternative
high school, where he taught and then served as the Dean of Students.
While working at Brighton Heritage Academy, he earned his Master’s Degree
in Educational Leadership. Mr. O’Field’s goal was to serve in a leadership
capacity, and in 2019, he accepted a position at West Ridge Academy, a K-8
charter school in Greeley, CO where he served as Assistant Principal and
then Principal. He was instrumental in leading West Ridge through several
leadership changes as well as the COVID pandemic. In 2021, Mr. O’Field and
his family moved from northern Colorado to Jay, Oklahoma where he served
in various roles for Jay Public Schools including as a Teacher, Assistant
Principal, and Coach.

Throughout his years in public education, Mr. O’Field had served in roles as
an Educator, Administrator and Coach. He has coached for over 20 years at
6 different high schools, serving in many different roles in both football and
baseball. Assuming a new role in Salina as CoAthletic Director is an exciting
opportunity to contribute to the school and community. Mr. O’Field’s passion
for teaching and mentoring young learners has led to many successful years
teaching social studies in the classroom and serving on several committees
to develop curriculum to ensure quality instruction to prepare students for
life after high school. Administrative opportunities as a Dean of Students,
Assistant Principal and Principal have provided the opportunity to continue to
ensure quality instruction for students. He is looking forward to enhancing
his well-rounded perspective by serving in his new role as Transportation
Director for Salina.

Mr. O’Field has been married to his wife, Kim, for 28 years. They have a
daughter that is a Junior in high school. They moved from Colorado in 2021
to Jay, OK where they currently live on the land that had been in Mr.
O’Field’s family for years. Mr. O’Field looks forward to growing and learning
in the Salina community and joining the Salina Schools team.
